Medicare 101 - Update
The Medicare 101 session scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, at our Harrisburg office has been cancelled due to low attendance. The session scheduled for Thursday, November 9, at our Camp Hill office is still on. It will begin at 7pm. Please RSVP to Stacy Maksin at email@example.com if you would like to attend. National Cancer Survivors Day
Today is National Cancer Survivors Day, a celebration of life after a cancer diagnosis. Mona Patel, PA-C has written a brief overview of what it means to be a cancer survivor and the transition from active treatment to post treatment life.

National Pancreas Foundation Central PA Chapter
Learn more about the National Pancreas Foundation Central Pennsylvania Chapter. The next support group will be on May 11 at 6:30 p.m. in our Camp Hill Office. The group is open to patients and care givers facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis and treatment.
2017 Tribute to Women of Excellence
Last evening, Dr. Mary Simmonds was recognized by the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg as the Legacy Honoree at the 2017 Tribute to Women of Excellence event held at the Hershey Lodge. This awards dinner is held annually to honor extraordinary women for their contributions to the workplace and our community. This year 31 local women were recognized, including an Emerging Leader and a Legacy honoree our very own Dr. Simmonds. Congratulations, Dr. Simmonds! See event photos.
26th Annual Sapphire Gala
The 26th Annual Sapphire Gala hosted by the American Lung Association in Pennsylvania will be held on March 4, 2017 in Camp Hill. Former patient Beth Munsch will be honored as the Lung Hero and Dr. Mary Simmonds, who was Beth’s physician, will speak and introduce the Munsch family.
Margie Gephart, RN, BSN, OCN speaks of honoree Beth Munsch; "I appreciate the opportunity to attend the Sapphire Gala in honor of my patient, Beth Munsch. Beth was a special lady who taught me much about strength, courage, determination, and resilience. Beth inspired me both personally and professionally. All I have learned from her will continue to help me in caring for others."

28th Annual Tribute to Women
Dr. Mary Simmonds has been selected as the YWCA Tribute to Women of Excellence 2017 Legacy Honoree. The event recognizes women who have made significant contributions to the community.
